Triana obtained her law degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and a specialty in Tax Law from the same institution.

She has started her professional career as a part of Woodhouse Lorente Ludlow, S.C. team, also has deep understanding in the energy and infrastructure field due to her collaboration with the legal group in charge of the structuring and negotiation of non-recourse and limited recourse financings for energy and infrastructure projects in Mexico, including the development of Renewable energy and sustainable development, road development and public-private infrastructure, advising national and international clients (including government agencies).

Triana is well-versed in federal and state regulation of natural resources in México, as well as in tax and administrative matters, which has allowed her to advise the energy, corporate and infrastructure practice firm’s clients.

In WLL Triana is involved in the area of Project Finance, that advises on legal aspects of infrastructure projects in Mexico, and advises governments, state owned companies, banks or investment corporations and sponsors on the structuring and negotiation of PPPs and infrastructure projects and in the course of major project finance transactions in addition to Electricity and Renewable Energy, Electric Markets and Energy Projects.
