For over three years, Karime has focused her practice on Environmental and Administrative Law. She has experience on hazardous wastes management, national waters use, wastewater discharges, emissions, environmental impact assessments and natural protected areas. Likewise, Karime has been involved on disputes and proceedings, before courts and administrative authorities, in regards to environmental matters.

Karime has been engaged in the development of Environmental Impact Statements legal section for projects involving protected vegetation and hydrocarbon’s sector activities. She has also, successfully handled administrative proceedings concerning natural protected areas, in order to obtain, modify and challenge diverse permits and authorizations.

She has developed experience in the litigation field, challenging Federal Attorney’s Office for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) and Ministry of Environment’s (SEMARNAT) resolutions, as well as advocating for their validity. Additionally, has taken part in the Environment and Natural Resources Standardization Committee’s (COMARNAT) sessions as a member of a civil association engaged in the development of Mexican Official Standards.

Karime is currently an associate Woodhouse Lorente Ludlow, S.C. team, she collaborates mainly in the Environmental, Energy and Real Estate practices.
