For more than seven years, Guadalupe Esparza Sánchez has focused her legal career on Energy Law, Infrastructure and Financial Law. She has ample experience drafting and implementing adequate legal structures for the construction of port terminals, toll roads, railroads, shopping centers, buildings and residential developments through trusts and special purpose vehicles, among others, and on the drafting and negotiation of the necessary contracts and agreements for the implementation of said structures.

Guadalupe has advised local and international clients on the drafting and negotiation of various types of construction contracts, including D&B, EPC, PMC, BT and BOT contracts, including model contracts used for the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC).

Guadalupe’s legal practice currently focuses on Energy Law, advising local and international clients on all kids of projects related to the new legal framework in Mexico, including advice on the participation in electricity auctions. She has ample experience on the processing and procurement of the necessary permits and authorizations for the implementation of said projects before the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), and on the implementation of projects, including their financing.

Guadalupe is currently an associate at Woodhouse Lorente Ludlow, S.C., collaborating in the areas of Energy Law, Infrastructure and Project Finance.
